Microvolunteering.

What an idea!

Sparked.com has started a network of individuals who microvolunteer. For busy people who cannot physically commit to something, they can digitally contribute (and boy, there are many ways). The way it works feels almost like a dating web site, because they match you with an organization in your interest area that needs your help. Very smart.

I like.

So I wonder, who does all this micro-contributing mean? How can the arts capitalize on this? We, at Yinzer, have been talking about the way to crowdsource a play – exploring logistics. I feel like there might be something in this micro-contribution that is perfect for our idea.
